About Me

Hanging out in the loft

I’m a recently retired music teacher.  I was born and raised in Oregon, but I left the state in 1980 to pursue my married life and teach music along the way.  My travels took me to Florida, upstate New York, and finally to Nashville, Tennessee in 1988.  It’s where we settled in with a new house and a new baby, but also where after about three years, my universe was turned upside down and I found myself unhappily divorced.

Fast forward to 2016, and I’ve retired from teaching and moved back to Oregon where I am close to family.  Downsizing to a tiny house made it affordable, and personally, it suits me.  I’m a camper at heart, so this tiny house adventure feels a bit like camping in pure luxury.
